As part of their annual awards celebration, the Arkansas Press Women are hosting a tribute to Carol Griffee on June 3rd.
Griffee was a formidable journalist and a staunch defender of the state FOIA. She died earlier this year.
The tribute starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Arkansas Studies Institute in the Rivermarket, and goes until 8:00.
